How it works

Karyo helps you buy and sell vehicles in Morocco, simply, from your phone. Karyo is an intermediary that connects users: we bring sellers and buyers together and provide useful tools, but the transaction is concluded directly between you and the other party.

To buy

1. Search and filter: browse listings and refine by make, model, price, year, city, etc.
2. View listings: photos, specifications, price and indicative estimate.
3. Contact the seller directly (phone or WhatsApp).
4. Save your searches to be alerted to new listings, and add your favourites.
5. Check and meet: before concluding, check the vehicle and its documents. See our "Safety tips".

To sell

1. Publish your listing in a few minutes: specifications, photos and price. Publishing is guided: the options offered adapt to the vehicle you select — for example, for a fully electric model, the fuel type is set automatically — to save you time.
2. Be precise and honest: a clear listing inspires trust and attracts serious buyers.
3. Exchange with buyers by phone or WhatsApp.
4. Conclude the sale directly with the buyer, following our safety tips.

Price estimation

To help you position a vehicle, Karyo offers an indicative price estimate.

Our methodology

The estimate is based on a machine-learning model trained on thousands of listings in Morocco. The main factors taken into account are:

• the make and model;
• the year of first registration (depreciation according to age);
• the mileage;
• the fuel type (petrol, diesel, hybrid, electric);
• the transmission (manual or automatic);
• the condition of the vehicle;
• the city.

Understanding the scale

The estimate can position a displayed price on an indicative scale:

• Great deal: well below the market;
• Good price: slightly below the market;
• Fair price: in line with the market;
• Above market: slightly above;
• Overpriced: well above the market.

An indicative estimate, not an appraisal

The estimate is provided for information purposes only. It does not constitute an appraisal, a professional valuation or an offer. The final price depends on many factors a model cannot capture (actual mechanical condition, service history, options, negotiation). Karyo cannot be held liable for decisions made on the basis of this estimate.
